Executives from Living Care Lifestyles, joined by local chamber of commerce leaders and members, development and design partners, recently celebrated the groundbreaking of a new, $30 million, 98,956-square-foot assisted living and memory care community in Gilbert, Ariz.

Quail Park at Morrison Ranch will have 115 studio, 1- and 2-bedroom units, with capacity for 130 residents. The community is scheduled to open summer 2018.

Set on a site comprising more than 4.5 acres, the 99,000-square-foot design features a farmhouse style with a large southern viewing tower. A covered porch and porte cochere will define the entry, and the two-story community will have an “H” plan configuration with central common areas tailored to assisted living and memory care residents. Amenities will include bistro, dining room and private dining options; “4- season” room; salon; living room; theater/chapel; activity room; library/TV room, and a wellness suite with exam and therapy offices.

The formal preliminary landscape plan, which has been developed in accordance to the Town of Gilbert standards, will feature colorful and therapeutic plants, trees, gardens and other landscape elements to stimulate the senses and offer places for strolling, remembrance, relaxing, activities and gathering.

BKV Group will serve as architect and W.E. O’Neil will serve as general contractor.
