2Life Communities (Brighton, Mass.) has completed a rooftop solar installation at Leland House, a 68-unit senior living community in Waltham, Mass., according to a news release.

The 178.08-kilowatt rooftop solar installation is expected to reduce the community’s energy costs by approximately 10 percent annually, delivering $750,000 in savings over 25 years, according to Resonant Energy.

2Life Communities partnered with solar developer Resonant Energy (Boston) on the project, which marks 2Life Communities’ first fully electric building.

Leland House opened in November 2024 and is designed to meet Passive House standards.
