The LaSalle Group (Irving, Texas) has announced that it will be opening a new freestanding memory care community—Autumn Leaves of Stockbridge (Stockbridge, Ga.)—this fall, and will soon begin construction on Autumn Leaves of Westover Hills (San Antonio), a 36,000-square-foot specialized assisted living community dedicated to memory care.
Autumn Leaves of Stockbridge, a 26,000-square-foot memory care community, will provide specialized care to nearly 50 residents living with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and memory impairment. It will be designed to create a calm, safe, and engaging environment. The community will offer free programs to the public including seminars, speakers, and monthly Alzheimer’s support groups. Respite care is also available.
Autumn Leaves of Westover Hills will provide care to 54 residents living with Alzheimer’s, dementia and other forms of memory impairment. It will incorporate music in various aspects of the community to engage residents while providing therapeutic benefits. In addition, the community will feature themed courtyards, an open café designed for socialization, and a layout that gives residents more independence.
Dedicated listening stations at Westover Hills will allow residents to enjoy personalized playlists of their favorite music. Built-in sound systems will play music in the dining rooms and spa and the Music Maker playground will encourage intergenerational socializing with grandchildren. The new design creates various areas that promote socialization or give residents a place to relax.
The community in San Antonio is the result of a partnership between The LaSalle Group, OmniAmerican Bank, and Silverado Interests (not affiliated with Silverado Senior Living).
