Lakewood To Expand West End Campus

The $64 million project will include a new four-story Lakeview Clubhouse and two additional buildings.

Lakewood has kicked off its $64 million expansion on the West End campus in Richmond, Va.

The project includes a new four-story clubhouse and two additional buildings of apartment homes. The Lakeview Clubhouse will include a new community entrance. The upper floors will contain 44 apartment homes with underground parking, views of a new lake with walking paths, gardens, fire pits and a waterfall feature, and direct access to the Clubhouse’s amenities located on the first floor.

Twenty apartment, named Woodside Hybrid Homes, will be split between two new buildings. The units will have spacious floor plans, individual garages, and private outdoor spaces such as covered patios or balconies. Each building will also have a large central commons area.

THW Design is the architect and WM Jordan is the general contractor for the project. Construction is expected to be completed by late 2019 or early 2020.
