The Jewish Home Lifecare Center for Advanced Rehabilitation Medicine, a collaboration between Jewish Home Lifecare (Manhattan, N.Y.) and The Mount Sinai Hospital’s Department of Rehabilitation Medicine, has opened its doors.

The 22-bed post-acute orthopedic rehabilitation unit will be staffed by a multidisciplinary team of healthcare specialists. The collaborative goal-oriented therapies offered focus on enabling patients with orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions to resume the independent lives they led before being hospitalized.

Services include clinical care and rehabilitation therapy, total joint therapy, individualized recovery plans, a coordinated approach to transitioning to home care or outpatient services, pain management, wound care management, recreational programs, continued home health services through Jewish Home Lifecare’s Certified Home Health Agency, and more.
