Heritage Woods Of Huntley has broken ground for a $5 million expansion project in Huntely, Ill.
The addition at White Oaks at Heritage Woods of Huntley includes 30 memory care apartments for older adults with Alzheimer’s disease or related dementia and nine assisted living apartments. Each of the private apartments will feature a large bathroom with shower, as well as individually controlled heating and air conditioning units.
Amenities will include a dining room, atrium, and salon. The almost 31,000-square-foot project completes the master plan for the 4-acre site that opened in 2009. It's slated to be completed next spring.
David Schoning Design is the architect and construction will be completed by M.R. Construction. The senior living community is operated by operated by Gardant Management Solutions.
