Heritage Communities has revealed plans to expand The Heritage at Fox Run on a 8.4-acre site in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
Designed in partnership with Slaggie Architects, the independent living apartments range in size from studios to two-bedroom apartments. The addition will include include 14 studio apartments; 31 one-bedroom apartments; six two-bedroom, one-bath apartments; and nine two-bedroom, two-bath apartments; and 18 memory support apartments.
The project will be the first expansion of The Heritage at Fox Run, which was built in 2004. The memory care unit will be housed in a one-story wing of the expansion, while the independent living apartments will be located in two- and three-story wings. The addition will feature its own kitchen facility.
Construction of the 94,000-square-foot addition is slated to be completed by December 2019.
