HCR ManorCare (Toledo, Ohio) is opening its 100th MedBridge unit this month at its ManorCare Health Services skilled nursing and rehab center in Wheaton, Md.
The treatment program provides specialized care for patients that are designed to maximize independent functioning, improve psychological and physical well-being, and assist the patient in returning home. Care teams include specialty physicians, RNs, and licensed physical, occupational and speech therapists.
HCR ManorCare says it plans to add several more MedBridge units within its existing facilities during the next few months.
