Senior Lifestyle Corp., has broken ground on a 99,452-gross-square-foot, two-story assisted living and three-story memory care community, in Cooper City, Fla.
The Sheridan at Cooper City will feature units purposely built and programmed to support residents with Alzheimer's, dementia, and other memory-impairing illnesses.
Amenities will include 20,000 square feet of common space with dining rooms, living rooms, an internet cafe, an art studio, salon, fitness center, and physical therapy spaces.
Senior Lifestyle is partnering with Formation Development Group, an affiliate of Formation Capital, for this project. The development is expected to take 18 months to construct and is financed by Texas Capital Bank and its development trust. The general contractor is ANF Group and the project architect is PDRG.
