Former Hotel To Find New Life As Assisted Living Community

<p>Plans are underway to convert a former Regency Inn to a new assisted living and memory care community in Tavares, Fla. The multistory facility will be known as <a href="http://www.regencyparkalf.com" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Regency Park</a>, serving more than 85 residents.</p><p>The 35,000-square-foot project will be designed by <a href="http://rabitsromano.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Rabits & Romano Architecture</a>, and developed and owned by<a href="http://www.excellencealf.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"> Excellence Assisted Living Facilities</a>.</p>

Plans are underway to convert a former Regency Inn to a new assisted living and memory care community in Tavares, Fla. The multistory facility will be known as Regency Park, serving more than 85 residents.

The 35,000-square-foot project will be designed by Rabits & Romano Architecture, and developed and owned by Excellence Assisted Living Facilities.

Features of the new Regency Park include an expanded entrance and lobby with covered entry, a new commercial kitchen, beauty salon, dining areas, extensive gardens and landscaping including a gazebo, and more.
