Nonprofit developer Sol Housing (Albuquerque, N.M.) opened Farolito Senior Community in Albuquerque, N.M., according to krqe.com.

The project adds 82 units of affordable senior housing, with 72 one-bedroom and 10 two-bedroom floor plans. Farolito is directly across the street from the 150-unit Luminaria Senior Community, both built on state-owned land and filling a need for affordable senior living.
