Erickson Senior Living (Catonsville, Md.) held a ribbon-cutting celebration at Woodleigh Chase senior living community in Fairfax, Virginia, according to the website patch.com.
Situated on 42 acres, the first phase of the campus’ development includes two independent living buildings with 260 one- and two-bedroom apartment homes.
The apartment homes include an open floor plan and a screened patio or balcony, as well as stainless-steel appliances, quartz countertops, and vinyl plank floors.
The 43,000-square-foot Emerson Square Clubhouse houses an all-season aquatics center, fitness center, theater, hair salon and barbershop, classrooms, library, billiards and game room, two restaurants, and a pub.
Residents can also access outdoor bocce courts and a dog park.
The project team includes JHP Architecture/Urban Design (architect; Dallas) and Brinkmann Constructors (general contractor; Glen Allen, Va.).
