The Environments for Aging (EFA) conference, founded and produced by Vendome Group LLC, publishers of Long-Term Living, Environments for Aging, and Healthcare Design magazines, along with its educational partners, including The Center for Health Design, the AIA Design for Aging Knowledge Community, the International Interior Design Association, The American Society of Interior Designers, and Society for the Advancement of Gerontological Environments, has begun accepting proposals for presentations.
The event is dedicated to advancing senior environments through building, architecture, and design best practices.
The conference, which will be held May 3-6, 2014, in Anaheim (Calif.), brings together developers, owners, design professionals, product manufacturers, academia, aging specialists, and government officials to explore new ideas for creating places that support people as they age.
The educational content will focus on:
