Construction on Emerald Trace on Turkeyfoot, a new $14 million senior living community in in Elsmere, Ky., has reached the final stage. The community, part of Rosedale Green, expects to open its doors in December 2016.
Emerald Trace will offer 74 skilled nursing and memory care residences. The residences will be split between two buildings, one housing 34 short-term skilled nursing and rehabilitation residences, and the other housing 20 memory care and 20 long-term skilled nursing residences.
The community is being designed in the household model. Each floor of the two-story buildings will comprise a household that will balance independent apartment space with a variety of common areas such as kitchens and dining areas.
The Emerald Trace on Turkeyfoot campus is located on 16 acres of private, park-like land.
