Environments for Aging magazine is now accepting nominations for its 2026 EFA Design Champions awards. The deadline for nominations is July 8.
The biennial awards program recognizes industry leaders who are driving new ideas and solutions in senior living design that are making meaningful improvements to the lives of residents, staff, and the greater community.
Now in its seventh year, Design Champions looks specifically for contributions made to the industry within the past two years (2024-2026). Eligible nominees include architects, interior designers, providers, owners/operators, caregivers, engineers, researchers, and academics.
Design Champions is designed to celebrate individual contributions, but one team award may be considered. Winners will be recognized in the fall 2026 issue of Environments for Aging and at the 2027 Environments for Aging Conference + Expo, scheduled for April 12-14, 2027, in Charlotte, N.C.
