The EdenHill Communities (New Braunfels, Texas) project is slated to open in September with a modern and hospitality-like setting. Three: living architecture (Dallas) was hired by EdenHill Communities to renovate its existing units and make additions to the common and independent living areas to transform the campus into a full continuing care retirement community (CCRC).
Among the additions are a new dining room, wellness center, hair salon, aerobics studio, and physical therapy suite. Also, the configuration of the apartments and bathrooms will transform from a “Jack and Jill” style to a more modern, home-like and private design.
The shift toward a more hospitality-like setting will also come through natural light, provided by large windows, and large common spaces and multipurpose rooms.
EdenHill (formerly Eden Home) was built in 1955.
