Ebenezer Society (Minneapolis) has opened its new memory care development at Ebenezer Ridges in Burnsville, Minn.
The new three-story, $12 million addition features individual suites surrounding common areas designed to provide comfort and a sense of familiarity as well as programs designed to stimulate memory and increase socialization.
The private apartments are specially designed for residents with memory loss.
The campus also includes a physical therapy area, movie theater, beauty and barber shop, library, club room, dining rooms, chapel, coffee shop, gift shop and lounges.
There will be around-the-clock supervision, nursing, and therapuetic recreation available for residents who suffer from Alzheimer's and dementia. A support group for family members will also be offered.
