Dover Development Proposes Cedarhurst Of St. Charles Senior Living Community In Illinois

The plan includes 64 independent living cottages and a 77,000-square-foot building to house 60 assisted living units and a 27-unit memory care neighborhood.

Dover Development (St. Louis) has proposed building the Cedarhurst of St. Charles senior living community, on a 23-acre site in St. Charles, Ill., according to the Daily Herald.

The project plan includes 64 independent living cottages in 16 fourplexes along the west end of the property, where a clubhouse is also proposed. A 77,000-square-foot main building on the east side of the property would house 60 assisted living units and a 27-unit memory care neighborhood.

The developer’s operating company, Cedarhurst Senior Living (St. Louis), manages more than 50 independent living, assisted living, and memory care communities in the U.S.
