Dartmouth-Hitchcock (Lebanon, N.H.) has named MorrisSwitzer Environments for Health (Boston) as the design firm for its new Palliative and Hospice Care Center in New Hampshire.

The new 21,000-square-foot facility will have 12 inpatient beds as well as dedicated space for families, staff, educators, and researchers. Site selection is currently underway.

MorrisSwitzer is partnering with Tom Mullinax, president of Hospice Design Resource (Hilton Head Island, S.C.), on the project, which is expected to start construction in September 2015.
