Covenant Retirement Communities Dedicates New Resident Activity Building

<p><a href="www.TheSamarkand.org" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Samarkand</a>, operated by <a href="http://www.covenantretirement.org/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Covenant Retirement Communities</a> recently held a dedication of its 9,527-square-foot, two-story LifeCenter building.</p><p>The building, designed with resident input from the ground up, will be the hub of resident activity at the senior living community.</p>

The Samarkand, operated by Covenant Retirement Communities recently held a dedication of its 9,527-square-foot, two-story LifeCenter building.

The building, designed with resident input from the ground up, will be the hub of resident activity at the senior living community.

Guests took self-guided tours of the $4 million building’s facilities, including the fitness center, indoor/outdoor cafe, wellness clinic, aerobics/multipurpose room, computer lab, and more.

The project team includes Covenant Solutions (Skokie, Ill.); Kilburn Architects LLC (Seattle, Wash.); contractor Trabucco and Associates, Jenette M. Kinsler Interior Design, Denver, Colo.; and Bodnar Design, Chicago.
