Continuing Life Communities celebrated the opening of its newest retirement community—Stoneridge Creek Pleasanton.

The community has about 635 homes with nearly 20 floor plans ranging from 700-square-foot apartment-style homes to 2,500-square-foot, single-story villas with attached garages. Homes will be offered with one-, two- and three-bedroom options, all with full kitchens.

The 46-acre campus features  independent living residences, a community clubhouse, and recreational buildings. Stoneridge Creek's amenities include several restaurant venues ranging from casual to fine dining; a resident library; billiard and card rooms; a computer lab and business center; a spa and fitness center; an open-air pool and steam room; performing arts theatre for musical and theatrical performances; movie theatre; and an art studio and woodworking shop. Residents can also enjoy a variety of outdoor recreational amenities including tennis courts, short-game golf course, dog park, walking and cycling trails, and bocce and croquet courts.

Designed for people aged 60 and older, the continuing care retirement community offers a variety of housing options and convenient access to care at the new Creekview Health Center, if needed.

Creekview Health Center is being constructed adjacent to Stoneridge Creek and is expected to open in 2014. The health center will be open to the residents of Stoneridge Creek as well as the outside public when space is available. The health center, with 68 assisting living apartments and a dedicated memory support area, will also include 73 skilled nursing beds.

Creekview is not owned by Stoneridge Creek but will provide services to Stoneridge Creek residents under a priority contract.
