Site work is underway on The Crossing at Five Forks in Simpsonville, S.C. The 197,702-square-foot senior living facility will serve the area's growing senior population and is expected to be completed in late 2016.
Located within minutes of six Upstate hospitals, The Crossing at Five Forks will feature 172 units including 100 independent living, 48 assisted living, and 24 memory care residences to serve the senior population.
The developer, Smith/Packett Med-Com LLC and its subsidiary Harmony Senior Services LLC, has teamed with McCrory Construction Co. to build the project.
Plans also include an on-site theater, pub, fitness center, and beauty/barber services. Landscaping design plans reveal a large courtyard along with walking paths, lush plants, trees, and blooming flowers set in a gazebo garden.
The Crossings at Wescott Plantation located in Charleston, S.C., will also offer independent living, assisted living, and memory residences, and is scheduled for completion in Fall 2016.
