ClearPath Senior Holdings has started construction on a new senior living community project. Oak Pointe of Carthage, one of three senior living communities currently being built in southwest Missouri, will be a 37,000-square-foot, single-story community.
When the community is completed in May 2016, Oak Pointe of Carthage will offer a mix of studio, one-, and two-bedroom apartments. Amenities will include a wellness center with space for physician visits and therapy services; courtyard and garden areas; a crafts and hobby room; a full-service beauty and barber salon; and free resident and guest parking.
The memory care wing will provide, for those residents suffering from Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia, social activities and programs designed to help keep the individual engaged and active. In keeping with other Oak Pointe communities, there will be a dedicated storm shelter for residents and staff. The communities in Carthage, Neosho, and Monett will all have a shelter constructed with reinforced concrete, masonry, and structural steel.
Partnering with ARCO Construction Co. Inc., on the construction of Oak Pointe is GMA Architects; Anderson Engineering (civil engineering); and KPFF (structural engineering). The community will be managed and operated by Provision Living.
