HarborChase of Shorewood, (Shorewood, Wis.) is currently under construction for a new assisted living and memory care facility. The community, which will include 59 assisted living units and 35 memory care units on a 3.2-acre site, is expected to be completed by September 2015.
The village contributed a $1.7 million grant for the project, which has a guaranteed value of $20 million upon completion,according to Chris Swartz, Shorewood Village manager.
The project team includes: Harbor Retirement Associates – developer (Vero Beach, Fla.); Eppstein Uhen Architects – architect (Milwaukee); Direct Supply Aptura – interior design (Milwaukee); JSD Professional Services Inc. – civil engineer (Waukesha, Wis.); The Sigma Group – environmental consultant (Milwaukee); Matrix Group – MEP (Milwaukee); and The Pierce Group – structural engineer (Milwaukee).
