A construction contract was awarded for a new assisted living and memory care facility being developed by PinPoint Commercial LP and Thrive Senior Living LLC in Katy, Texas.
Cadence McShane Construction Co. will build the two-story, 64,281-square-foot Legacy at Falcon Point, which features panel wall and steel construction accented by a natural stone and stucco exterior. The interior design includes upscale finishes within the 22 units designed for memory care and 60 assisted-living units.
Three Square Design Group is providing the comprehensive architectural services.
The site will be shaped by a “main street and neighborhood” design concept, with each wing of the facility treated as a separate neighborhood with a unique theme used in common areas. The main street area will offer amenities like a movie theater, spa, restaurant, gym, retail, and sports bar.
The facility will also incorporate technology to provide the best quality of life possible for its residents including wireless RFID door entry systems, identity lighting to guide residents at night, and camera systems that monitor all areas outside of the resident apartments allowing the immediate delivery of assistance, when needed.
