Fortress Ventures (Estero, Fla.), Compass Real Estate (Atlanta), and Thrive Senior Living (Atlanta) have broken ground on a new senior living community in Ft. Myers, Fla., to be called Thrive at Beachwalk.
Thrive at Beachwalk will focus on resident engagement and connectivity in a resort-like environment. The community is sited beside a scenic lake and is within walking distance to retail and dining options.
The 125-unit community will feature a salon, meeting and entertainment spaces, multiple dining venues, scenic water views, and a wellness center with advanced pneumatic fitness equipment designed for seniors.
Licensed as an assisted living community, Thrive at Beachwalk will cater to a range of seniors. There will be two separate and distinct neighborhoods within the community, one for assisted living and an adjacent memory care area.
Construction financing has been provided by Centennial Bank. The architect is THW Architects (Atlanta). The community is expected to open in fall 2017.
