Co-authors Charles Durrett and Jean Nilsson have released a new book, Senior Cohousing Primer, examining 15 cohousing communities developed by McCamant & Durrett Architects, according to a press release.
The opening chapter explains cohousing benefits, model types, and community planning considerations. The Senior Cohousing Primer walks readers through a variety of planning factors, touching on what matters for multigeneration planning as well as senior cohousing and more.
Durrett looks at the impact of a ‘micro-village’ on health, abetting loneliness, and overall quality of life.
