Ciena Healthcare (Southfield, Mich.), an operator of skilled nursing and rehabilitation centers in Michigan and Connecticut, has opened a 120-bed community in Lansing, Mich., Regency at Lansing West, providing long- and short-term rehabilitative services with physical, occupational, and speech therapy facilities.
The design focuses on providing a home-like setting with large windows, courtyard views, outdoor walking areas, and an outdoor cooking area outside of the dining room.
NSA Architects, Engineers, Planners was the archiecture firm on the project and Invacare Interior Design (Maryland Heights, Mo.) provided the interior design and furnishings.
