The Center at Arrowhead in Glendale, Ariz., has completed construction and recently celebrated its grand opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The new campus situated on 3.88 acres, with a resort-like atmosphere, features 96 private rooms with bathrooms, a 3,156-square-foot gym for physical and occupational therapy. It also includes gourmet meals, wireless internet acces, a healing garden, and various other amenities.
While the facility is not designed for assisted living, it will care for patients who require intravenous antibiotics, recovery, and rehabilitation following orthopedic and spine surgery, conditions such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, congestive heart failure or transplant surgery.
The new facility was designed by H+L Architecture and is managed by Veritas Management Group. Kitchell provided a vareity of services including development, program management, construction, and facility management.
