The EFA Conference, an annual event that brings together developers, owners, design professionals, product manufacturers, academia, aging specialists, and government officials to explore new ideas for creating places that support people as they age, is accepting presentations for 2015.
The 2015 EFA Conference will be held April 19-21 in Baltimore.
The conference is founded and produced by Vendome Group LLC (publisher of Environments for Aging, Healthcare Design, and Long-Term Living magazines) and The Center for Health Design, in conjunction with the AIA Design for Aging Knowledge Community, International Interior Design Association, The American Society of Interior Designers, and SAGE.
With a focus on improving both healthcare and life experiences for the aging population through design, this comprehensive conference provides attendees with the latest information from thought leaders and innovators within the field of aging.
Presentation proposals should target the following areas of focus, but aren't limited to these:

- Innovations in design and planning

- Solutions that enhance the human experience

- Trends towards independence and wellness

- Dementia and other cognitive challenges
- Funding considerations.
