Brandywine Living recently achieved a major milestone in Washington, D.C., by topping out its new project, Brandywine Living At Alexandria . The topping out ceremony celebrates the placement of the last steel beam.
The six-story senior living project, designed by Niles Bolton & Associates, is the first of five Brandywine Living communities planned in the area. Construction started in March 2016 and is expected to be completed in December.
Brandywine Living at Alexandria is designed to target LEED Silver certification and will consist of 116 luxury suites that are situated above ground-floor retail.
The senior living community will feature two levels of below-grade parking, interior and exterior courtyards, a therapy pool and gym, beauty salon, movie theater, pub, outdoor patios, private dining rooms and many other building amenities
The general contractor is Donohoe Construction Co.
