The Arbor assisted living community in Nacogdoches, Texas, started construction on a new memory care neighborhood and assisted living apartments. The addition is expected to open in September 2016.
The memory care neighborhood will include five companion and six private suites, a courtyard, living and dining rooms, and a country kitchen.
The assisted living addition will add nine one bedroom units and three studio suites, a day room, living room with fireplace, beauty salon, and a health and wellness center. J.E. Kingham Construction (Nacogdoches, Texas) is the general contractor on the project.
In addition, owner Prevarian Senior Living (Dallas) is renovating the existing community, with work expected to wrap up by spring 2016.
