Applewood Nursing Center has completed its addition and renovation project in Woodhaven, Mich.
Applewood's developer, Caretel Inns of America, worked on the $2.7 million project in multiple phases which allowed Applewood to maintain critical dining and therapy operations throughout construction.
Designed by Interface Architecture & Design, the 7,397 square-foot addition includes a new lobby and office to the front of the existing facility, nine semiprivate suites, renovation of another 18 semiprivate rooms leading into private suites, expansion of the existing dining area and rehabilitation gym, and new landscaping.
The Douglas Co., was the general contractor.
