Ageless Living Collaborative (ALC; Potomac, Md.) has announced the 2025 winners of its Ageless Living Collaborative Scholarship, sponsored by Samuelson Furniture.

The 2026 scholarship recipients are Aatika Hayat, an interior design student at Parsons School of Design (New York), and Ericka Anderson, a interior design student at Thomas Jefferson University (Philadelphia).

Hayat’s interior design studies represent a career shift, following 20 years as a tax lawyer. Through her work, she says she’s focused on how design can better support autonomy, cognitive well-being, and social connection for people as they age.

Anderson has served as a residential design intern with Z Domus Designs (Malvern, Pa.) and with Meyer Design Inc. (Ardmore, Pa.) on its senior living team. Her interest in senior living design centers on how thoughtful environments can enhance quality of life for older adults.

The winners will be celebrated at the 2026 For more information and to register for the 2026 EFA Conference, visit environmentsforaging.com.
