Ageless Living Collaborative (ALC; Potomac, Md.) announced the winners of its Ageless Living Collaborative Scholarship sponsored by Samuelson Furniture.
They are Carlie Garrison, an interior design student at Ball State University (Muncie, Ind.), and Deborah Oluwade, who is studying for her master’s degree in interior design at the University of Manitoba (Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada).
Garrison, who is minoring in construction management and marketing, is active in the Interior Design Association (IDA) at Ball State and was nominated for the BSA Healthcare Design Charette at BSA Life Structures (Indianapolis).
Born in Nigeria, Oluwade is focusing her education on senior care, specifically aging in place. She has served as the president of the Interior Design Students Association (IDAS) at the University of Manitoba.
