Affordable Senior Living Community Breaks Ground In Florida

Developer Housing Trust Group (Coconut Grove, Fla.), in partnership with non-profit AM Affordable Housing Inc., has broken ground on Valencia Grove II, an affordable senior housing community in Eustis, Fla., according to an article in Rebusiness Online.

The 110-unit, $22 million community is the second phase of the Valencia Grove project, which offers 144 affordable units.

The project team includes Fugleberg Koch (architect; Winter Park, Fla.), Christina Stiles Interiors (interior designer; Maitland, Fla.), Foster Covenant (landscape architect), Hennessy Construction (general contractor; St. Petersburg, Fla.), and Wicks Engineering Services Inc. (civil engineer; Tavares, Fla.). It is scheduled for completion in May 2021.
