After establishing its distinct place in the Dallas market in 2001, this forward-thinking provider knew it was time to readdress key components of this reputable senior living community in order to stay competitive. The goal was to update finishes and amenity offerings across the continuum of care with seamless transitions between additions and existing spaces, creating an elevated experience for all residents no matter the level of care.
Based on use patterns and current residents’ needs as well as marketing goals for attracting new residents, the team developed a thoughtful strategy for this extensive remodel and addition project. Some of the project highlights include the lobby renovation, an updated amenity offering, including a new performing arts center addition, and an expansion of the skilled nursing, memory support and assisted living components.
The new and improved lobby now creates a positive and lasting impression, an entry sequence that welcomes residents and guests—a great introduction to the updated community. The hospitality-inspired interior and updated amenities provide an engaging atmosphere that offers multiple dining venues, a performing arts center, art studio, movie theater and updated spa and salon, as well as fitness area. The community also invested in the addition of 15 spacious assisted living apartments, 21 skilled nursing units and 21 memory support beds. Commons spaces in these areas were enhanced to support resident engagement and the finish level was updated to match the renovated independent living areas—ensuring a seamless transition throughout the community.
The hospitality-inspired interior, new amenity mix, and updated healthcare services allow this community to remain competitive in the market.
