Nonprofit Tabitha Senior Living (Grand Island, Neb.) held a grand opening at Tabitha at Prairie Commons, according to the website theindependent.com.

The new senior living community is part of a mixed-use development that includes a medical center and medical office building.

The $50 million, 200,000-square-foot community includes 81 independent living units, 20 assisted living units, 20 memory care units, 36 skilled nursing units, and rehabilitation services.

Amenities include a bistro café, club lounges, rooftop patios, memory gardens, library, salon, fitness and wellness centers, theater, chapel, and community rooms.

The project team comprises Chief Construction (Grand Island).
