The Landings at Lutheran Haven, a continuing care retirement community (CCRC) has opened outside Orlando, Fla. The two-story building houses 48 apartments for independent living and a commons area with amenities such as spacious dining room, bistro, library, private and exterior dining areas, a spa/salon, home health clinic, card room, and putting green.
The design concept was to create open and inviting spaces using a contemporary design with clear wayfinding and easy-to-maintain finishes. A neutral backdrop of textures is accented with color in the furnishings and photographic artwork throughout the facility. The design also maximizes access to the surrounding lush Florida landscape with views of nature and natural light to brighten up the facility.
