Hospice of the Western Reserve in Cleveland has announced plans to engage in a master planning process with design firm, C.C. Hodgson.

Renamed David Simpson Hospice House, the Hospice House on Lake Erie, the facility as well as the adjacent 12-acre Christian Life Center property are a part of long-term growth plans by the nonprofit community-based agency.

The hospice has received several donations, including one of its largest gifts in the agency's histoy. A large portion of the gift is earmarked for staff development, including underwriting for the cost of professional certifications. Other upgrades will be flat screen TVs and new technology for families to communicate with their loved ones while they're in the hospice.
