Douglas Gardens Residences at Miami Jewish Health has opened in Pembroke Pines, Fla., according to the Pembroke Pines News.

The development comprises an affordable senior living community for residents ages 55 and older, along with a Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) medical center operated by nonprofit Miami Jewish Health (Miami).

Douglas Gardens Residences occupies 14.2 acres of the 25-acre campus and houses 410 units—40 more than typically allowed under local zoning due to a density bonus tied to a Broward County affordable housing incentive, reports The Real Deal. Units range from studios to two-bed, two-bath floor plans.

Amenities include walking paths, a fitness center, community room and library, business center, and pet grooming station.

The 15,000-square-foot PACE center offers primary care, physical and occupational therapy, and mental health services.
