Descon Construction (contractor; North Bay, Canada) is expected to begin construction this fall on a new senior living community in Smooth Rock Falls, Ontario, according to The Timmons Daily Press.
The Smooth Rock Falls town council approved the project, which will comprise 20 two-bedroom independent living units in a cul-de-sac. A nonprofit corporation is being established to manage the property.
Construction is expected to take one year, with residents moving in by summer 2027.
