Beacon Resources and the Dwight and Linda Davis Foundation (Wausau, Wis.) have submitted plans to the City of Wausau for Grant Place, a new 55+ senior living community in Wausau, according to wsaw.com.

Thie project would demolish an existing apartment building to build a 7-story community with 70 independent living units and 24 assisted living units.

The City of Wausau Planning Commission will consider whether to rezone the site, which currently has a height restriction of 5 stories, according to the news article.
