Valley Hi Nursing & Rehabilitation for McHenry County, a county-owned senior living community, completed the addition of a memory care wing in Woodstock, Ill., according to a news release from Wold Architects and Engineers, the designer on the project.
The project includes a new dining room, kitchen, and support spaces, as well as a secure walking path and indoor and outdoor gathering spaces for memory care residents. Resident rooms were also updated with interior finishes, lighting, and furnishings. The new wing connects to the existing facility.
