Erickson Senior Living (Catonsville, Md.) has started construction on Emerson Lakes, a new continuing care retirement community (CCRC) in Lakewood Ranch, Fla., according to yourobserver.com.
The project, located on a 46-acre site, will be completed in phases. The first phase will feature three residential buildings with 315 units across 25 floor plans, in addition to a 50,000-square-foot clubhouse. Amenities will include a fitness center, pool, dog park, walking trails, multiple on-campus dining venues, and a full-service salon, barbershop, and spa. The first residential building is expected to open by early 2027.
The CCRC plans to break ground on a fourth residential building later this year, having been approved for up to 10 residential buildings and a second clubhouse.
