The Village on Morehead
The Village on Morehead will bring an urban high-rise option for independent living to Charlotte, N.C.
Nestled in the Morehead corridor that connects three historic neighborhoods, The Village on Morehead will add to the revitalization of the up-and-coming avenue leading to the city’s Uptown area.
Paying homage to the high-rise vernacular of Charlotte’s Uptown, the 12-story building remains sensitive to its historic surroundings. The design integrates precast concrete and masonry, staying true to the city and neighborhood vernacular, and oversized storefront glazing in muted tones, evoking a strong presence without the harsh contrast or overpowering adjacent resident structures.
The 392,000-square-foot project includes floor-to-ceiling windows throughout, while a lush terrace and patio streetscape help connect the interiors to the outdoors. Higher ceilings in the amenity spaces with crown molding and cove lighting bring a sense of elegance, as well.
Slated for completion in November, the project will house casual and fine dining options, wellness and fitness spaces, indoor heated pool, theater, library, and a salon and spa.
The 192-unit community will include one-, two-, and three-bedroom options with dens, powder rooms, laundry rooms, walk-in closets, wet bars, integrated roller shades, quartz countertops, and premium fixtures.
Due to demographics and demand, the top floor was redesigned to provide luxury penthouse suites.
