Looking to fulfill a growing need for specialized senior care in rural areas, Country Place Senior Living of Fairhope opened a 24-suite assisted living residence in Fairhope, Ala., in March 2014. The concept was designed from research collected from assisted living residents.
The goal for each residence was “understated elegance.” Because everyone has different physical capabilities and limitations, the building was designed so that every senior’s residence is within 150 feet of all features and amenities. The intimate layout of the community increases social interaction and accommodates various levels of physical health and stamina. A professional kitchen and dining room are centrally located.
