Charter Senior Living of Oak Openings in Toledo, Ohio, opened in January 2019 and combines the feeling of a boutique hotel with universal design concepts.
The 48,800-square-foot community features 24 assisted living units and 36 memory care units. The interior has a nautical theme while the layout comprises separate areas for front-of-house and back-of-house services. For example, a self-contained circulation core for residents removes the institutional feel while heightening the experience for residents.
