First Look: Broadview-Senior Living at Purchase College

The intergenerational senior living community located on 40 acres at Purchase College in Rye Brook, N.Y., will feature amenities to foster interaction among residents, students, and faculty.

Broadview—Senior Living at Purchase College is being developed as an intergenerational senior learning community that will be integrated with Purchase College in Rye Brook, N.Y.

The 40-acre community, expected to be completed in 2022, will offer independent living homes, including 174 one- and two-bedroom apartments, most with underground reserved parking, and 46 two-bedroom villas with attached two-car garages. Homes range from 675 to 2,161 square feet.

All residences will include a full kitchen, living space, and private bedrooms with bathrooms. The community’s numerous amenities will include dining venues, a movie theatre, pool, fitness center, spa and salon. An onsite health center will offer assisted living and memory care and a Learning Commons will provide a place for residents, students, and faculty to interact in a collaborative space.

Hord Coplan Macht is the architecture firm on the project and Merlino Design Partnership is providing interior design services.
