Woodland Pond at New Paltz, a continuing care retirement community (CCRC) in New Paltz, N.Y., presented plans for a new satellite campus to the Village of New Paltz Planning Board, according to hudsonvalleyone.com.

The expansion plans comprise 94 residential units, as well as a courtyard and community park on a 12-acre site directly south of the existing campus, according to Woodland Pond.

The project, if approved, will be part of a broader renovation and expansion of the existing campus, which is underway and will include new dining rooms, a renovated wellness center, enlarged salon and spa, upgraded aquatics area, remodeled lobby and concierge area, and new 200-seat performing arts center.

Future phases of the project entail adding centralized communal living and dining areas, residential-style kitchens, four-season sunrooms, an elevated terrace, and improved access to outdoor gardens.
